About

Christy Cummings

Is a trained professional organizer, Chair of the Halton-Peel Chapter of Professional Organizers in Canada, and founder of Clear My Closet, Professional Organizing Services.

Christy began organizing professionally in 2020 because she gets it. She is a mom and a step mom, a daughter and a niece. She has experienced moving house a few times and blended a family with her current partner. Being a member of the sandwich generation, she has moved loved ones into long-term care and cleared out family estates. Christy knows that all of these life events come with emotions and a whole lot of stuff.

On a personal note. I treat all clients as I would my own family by caring for their valued possessions and respecting their decisions.

My passion for structure and order began early, although my mother would have argued that one. She would have understood me being an entrepreneur, but would have found it funny that my business is as a professional organizer and likely would have told me to start with my room as she laughed herself silly.

I understand creative minds having worked as a professional musician, teacher for over 25 years. After my second child was born in 2004, I left the corporate retail world to help run a family owned cleaning and maintenance company servicing industrial clients as well as residential. I am also a trained behaviour therapist experienced in working with the neurodiverse population.

Nothing is more satisfying than seeing, a client relax after the clutter is gone and their space is beautiful and functional once again. Life is about living now. You deserve it!
